Senior Product Manager – Legal Product
Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid) 
Division: Legal
About the Role: As a Senior Product Manager in our Legal Division, you won’t just manage features; you will own the evolution of how millions of consumers find legal help and how thousands of law firms grow their practices. We are looking for an AI-forward individual who is expected to operate with high autonomy, navigating ambiguity to solve complex problems that span across our massive portfolio of brands, including Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, and Nolo.
Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own a multi-quarter strategy, balancing a rolling 6-12 month roadmap. Take full accountability for the product lifecycle—from identifying opportunities in the legal market to defining the vision, building the roadmap, and executing high-impact launches.
  • Proactive Problem Solving & Communication: Don’t wait for a ticket. Identify bottlenecks in our Legal processes and design scalable technical solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Own the end-to-end process of your product by driving cross-functional collaboration through defining work documents, leading meetings, and aligning teams across Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales across the same set of goals and KPIs.
  • AI-Forward: Be deeply comfortable with AI technologies, identifying high-impact opportunities to leverage Generative AI and ML to accelerate our product capabilities.
  • Data-Drive Strategy: Define the data needed to drive core business hypotheses. Employ data storytelling to navigate complex decision-making and align stakeholders.
  • (Optional: People Manager): Manage team members, mentoring them on developing skills to think strategically and handle executive stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Product Management or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in, and understanding of, digital marketing and search engine optimization.
  • Familiar with Development and UX tools such as Figma, JIRA and others.
  • Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams (including technology, marketing, account management, sales operations, and finance) and successfully bring products to market
  • Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple and complex projects simultaneously in a quickly changing environment
  • Strong project management skills and analytical abilities 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
